World Kite Festival11 - 15 February 2017.
The skies over Pasir Gudang in Johor will be filled with beautiful, colourful and unique kite creations during the World Kite Festival 2017, said to be the largest in Asia. Some kites look too huge to even make the lift-off, but don't be surprised that when they do, they will fly beautifully!
Kite enthusiasts from all over the world gather at this annual event and they certainly take their kite-making and kite-flying activities seriously! Last year, 180 kite-flyers from 25 countries took part, all wanting to show off their latest creations and kite-flying technology! Be enchanted by the amazing variety of kites while you enjoy parades, contests, kite-flying demonstrations, displays as well as an assortment of food.

Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta (HABF)12 - 15 March, 2017.
The Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta (HABF) is in its seventh edition and will be showcasing 20 hot air balloons from around the world, of which 5 custom-designed ones in various shapes, size and colour. HABF 2014 attracted some200,000 visitors. 68% are Malaysians and 32% foreigners.
Red Bull Air Race World Championship 2017April 2017
Red Bull Air Race is back! Having resumed in 2014 after a three-year-hiatus, another world champion will be crowned at the end of the speediest flying race's season of 2017.
Crack pilots will hold 'master classes' in acrobatic flying. Going for the best time and maximum number of points, they will put their small planes through high-precision manoeuvres along challenging courses marked out by inflated 'air gates'. Thrills are guaranteed as pilots skimming the water engage in heart-stopping duels.
Legendary acrobats including Hannes Arch (AUT),m Kirby Chambliss (USA) and record holder Paul Bonhoimme (GBR) will put their stamp on the races. As for the rookies, they will relish eyeing for the new 'Challenger Cup'. A new structure and standardized propeller planes will make a fantastic contest even greater. At ten breathtaking venues including Malaysia, Japanm Russia and the U.S, there will be ripples in the air when the Red Bull Air Race is in town!
